Barred Grunter
Amniataba percoides
PASES Aqua supplies seasonal limited stock of Barred grunter.
A common Australian native widespread and found in large numbers in the wild. Declared pest in NSW.
Diet: Omnivorous, eating small insects, crustaceans and fish, also can eat algae and plants.
pH: Keep above and around 7.
Size: 19cm
Temperature: Have been known to withstand cold temps however we find they struggle in under 20c. 20-28 is the best.
Housing Requirements: Any aquarium over 100L, best kept in groups.
Compatibility: Can be very aggressive does well with other grunters, scats, large catfish.
