A common WA Perth native suitable for most ponds and freshwater aquariums, known for mosquito control and being frog friendly.
Diet:Carnivourous, prefers insects but will accept most prepared fish food.
pH:Keep above and around 7.
Size:6-8cm
Temperature: 2-32 Celcius. Seem to breed well in colder climates.
Housing Requirements: Any aquarium/pond/lake over 60L with aeration.These fish breed well in captivity.
Compatibility: Friendly with other fish. Will attack shrimp. Keep with any small community fish.
