The Blagdon Pro UV Clarifier 16,200 18W is a powerful ultraviolet pond clarifier designed to provide effective long-term control of the single-celled algae responsible for green pond water.

Pond water is pumped through the UV chamber, where the 18 W high-output UVC lamp exposes suspended algae to ultraviolet light. This damages the algae cells and causes them to bind together into larger particles, allowing them to be captured more effectively by the pond’s mechanical filtration system.

The Pro UV provides a chemical-free solution for improving pond clarity and is designed for reliable operation in larger garden and fish pond filtration systems.
