Idealseal MS290 is the ultimate all-round sealant and adhesive based on new MS Polymer Technology offering a durable, flexible, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional sealants, adhesives and putty.MS290 uses an anti-pick, non-toxic, low V.O.C. formulation; free of isocyanates, solvents and silicone’s. It has excellent adhesion to dry and wet surfaces without the risk of shrinkage or bubbling and will even cure underwater. In addition it is paintable with all common paints. Tested and approved for use with self-cleaning glass and in food preparation areas by ISEGA to EN1186, EN13130 and CEN/TS 14234.
USES:Â Idealseal MS290 is suitable for virtually any application where a sealant, adhesive or filler is required. It will seal and bond glass (including self-cleaning glass), porcelain, coated metal, epoxy and polyester panels, EPDM, plastics, fibreglass, vinyl, PVC, Stainless steel, anodised aluminium and finished wood.
DIRECTIONS:Â Surfaces must be sound, clean and dust free. Cut the cartridge seal and screw on the nozzle, which should be cut to your required size. Using a caulking gun, apply the sealant firmly into the gap or joint ensuring a good solid fill, making sure no air is trapped behind. Always tool using a spatula or stick wet with neutral soapy water within ten minutes of application.
