The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions requires a formal wetland management plan as a condition of approval of a development that is in close proximity to, or that incorporates a wetland. Specifically a wetland management plan should address these four fundamental questions:

  • Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999
  • Environmental Protection Act 1986
  • Fish Resources Management Act 1994
  • Wildlife Conservation Act 1950
